Merchants are prohibited from printing your expiration date or full credit card number on credit card receipts. If they do so, you may be entitled to $1,500 in statutory damages.
ATMs are prohibited from charging a fee which was not disclosed on a both a printed sign located on the machine and a disclosure on the screen. The notices must be consistent with each other and the amount you were charged. If not, you can recover your fee back and seek additional compensation under the law.
